On Thursday, April 18, Central Catholic High School will present its annual Festival of the Lively Arts from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the school at 2550 Cherry Street. Join us for a twilight celebration of the fine and performing arts showcasing the talents of the CCHS students.

Artwork from the Central Catholic art classes will be on display, including ceramic work, photography, sculpture, printmaking, graphic projects, pastels, paintings, and drawings. Piano and dance students will perform throughout the evening. The creative writing classes will have poetry on display outside on the sidewalks. The CCHS Moon Room and the Shamrock Shop will be open for visitors, and free books will be given away courtesy of the English department.

The evening will culminate with the music department’s spring concert at 7:00 p.m. in the CCHS Sullivan Center. The concert features performances by the CCHS Glee Club, Gospel Choir, Mixed Chorus, and band, and a preview of the upcoming spring musical, Anything Goes.

Admission to the Festival of the Lively Arts is free and all are welcome. For more information, contact Marie Arter, CCHS director of curriculum, at or call 419-255-2280.
