(Released March 26, 2013) – The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is pleased to announce its nature photography exhibit titled Masters & Favorites: The First 10 Years, on view now through Tuesday, April 30 in the Gallery of Main Library, 325 Michigan St.

People will preserve what they love. That was the simple idea behind the National Center of Nature Photography, established in 2002 in Secor Metropark. Stunning photography was the medium, but the message was the beauty of nature around us and the importance of preserving it for future generations to enjoy.

Now in its 10th year, the Photography Center has featured the inspiring work of professionals and amateurs from across the country and here in Lucas County. This Library exhibit includes images from the Masters collection and staff favorites from the many original and traveling exhibits that have graced the gallery’s walls.

The National Center for Nature Photography is a Metroparks Toledo Area facility located in Secor Metropark, Berkey, OH.
