Now through Sept. 2 Wild Walkabout, presented by Mercy 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily
Walk among the wallabies in a special walk-through exhibit. Meet Baru, the huge saltwater crocodile brought to Toledo by Block Communications, Inc. Continue your adventure with dingoes, kookaburras, lionfish and more as you explore the fascinating natural world of Australia. Remarkable up-close animal encounters and behind-the-scenes tours enrich the experience. Free with regular Zoo admission.

See your favorite Zoo animals chow down, all summer long! Experience animal-feeding demonstrations and enrichment throughout the Zoo; visit toledozoo.org/feedings for a complete schedule. Free with regular Zoo admission.

Wed. July 19 Watch It Grow Garden Tour 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Introduce beautiful native plants to your garden by using Zoo horticulturists’ time-tested tips. Free with regular Zoo admission, no reservations needed. Meet at the Conservatory.

Mon. July 22 ADA Day 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Ability Center of Greater Toledo shares information about services available for people with disabilities. For details call 419.885.5733. Free with regular Zoo admission.

Fri. July 26 Buddy Guy Concert 6:30 p.m.
This Blues Hall of Fame guitarist and singer comes to the Toledo Zoo’s Amphitheatre. Order tickets in person at the Zoo, at Ticketmaster locations or by phone at 800.745.3000. Separate fee.

This summer, the Zoo is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Zoo is located on the Anthony Wayne Trail (US 25), four miles south of downtown Toledo. For more information, please visit toledozoo.org or call 419.385.4040. Lucas County residents are admitted free of charge on non-holiday Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon. Valid ID showing proof of residency is required.
