Way Library will show the recent feature film “Life of Pi” on Tuesday, July 2 at 2:00 p.m. Ang Lee won the Oscar for Best Director for this film in 2013.

“Life of Pi” is an adventure story based on the book of the same name and centering on Pi Patel, the son of an Indian zookeeper. After a shipwreck, Pi finds himself adrift in the middle of the ocean sharing a lifeboat with the only other survivors—a few zoo animals and a fierce tiger. This is the tale of how Pi manages to keep his hope alive in the struggle to survive.

This film is part of Way Library’s “Show Me the Movie” contemporary film series which is sponsored by Skotynsky Financial Group, LLC.

Admission and refreshments are free of charge at this adults only event.
