Golf Outing Will Raise Funds for Toledo Soup Kitchen

Helping Hands of St. Louis at 443 Sixth St., Toledo, will host its 10th Annual Golf Outing on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Bedford Hills Golf Club in Temperance, Mich. The event will raise money to benefit Helping Hands ministries, which include a soup kitchen, food pantry and clothing center.

The tournament is a four-person scramble, which will be handicapped by a random card draw at the completion of play. Individuals are welcome and will be put into teams as necessary.

Tickets for the tournament include 18 holes of golf, a power cart, a hot dog at the turn, beverage tickets, and a chicken and New York strip steak dinner after the play. There will also be raffles and prizes.

Early bird tickets bought before July 16 are $80 per person, and regular price tickets are $90. Check in is at 7:30 a.m. with the tournament beginning at 8 a.m. Registration may also be made for $25 per person for those who would like to watch the play and eat dinner.
