Juried Exhibition of Student Artwork Opens Friday at UT

The University of Toledo Department of Art will hold its 2014 Juried Student Exhibition February 21 through March 29 in the UT Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) Main Gallery, next to the Toledo Museum of Art.

The Exhibition will open with a reception and awards ceremony Friday, February 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the CVA. The juror for the exhibition, Dustin Hostetler will present a lecture, followed by the awards ceremony and reception. The exhibition will remain on display in the UT Center for the Visual Arts Main Gallery through March 29. The exhibition and the opening events are free and open to the public.

The juried competition was open to all enrolled students of the University of Toledo – undergraduate, graduate or post-baccalaureate – and open to all media. The exhibition was juried by graphic artist, creative director and publisher Dustin Hostetler. Examples of his work are available online at http://www.upso.org/
