Lou Hebert to discuss his book

On Sunday, March 9th at 2 pm, notable Perrysburg resident Lou Hebert will discuss his book, Day by Day in Toledo: An Almanac of the Interesting, Important, and Unusual Stories of Toledo’s Past. The book presents thousands of interesting and sometimes unusual pieces of the area’s past in the form of a calendar of daily events of area history.

Lou Hebert is a long time TV and radio news writer, producer and on-air personality from the Toledo area. He has also worked at numerous broadcast outlets throughout the United States over the past 40 years, including Washington DC, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix and Detroit. For his various broadcast endeavors, Mr. Hebert has been honored with the coveted George Foster Peabody Award from the University of Georgia, several Emmy awards and most recently two Touchstone awards from Toledo Press Club. He also worked on the documentary “Romancing the River”, an hour-long look at the Maumee River in Northwest Ohio and Northeast Indiana, told from the unique perspective of a four day canoe trip along the course of its 130 mile length.
The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. Books will be available for signing and purchase after the presentation.
