Education Goal as Behavioral Connections Launches BC Talks

Bowling Green, Ohio – Behavioral Connections of Wood County recently launched BC Talks, a bi-weekly event aimed at bringing awareness to residents of Wood County and surrounding areas about Behavioral Connections.

The one-hour tour of Behavioral Connection’s mission is designed to provide insight into Behavioral Connection programs that deal with mental health issues, substance abuse and crisis. Attendees also hear stories from people whose lives were changed by Behavioral Connections.

“’BC Talks raise awareness about mental illness and promote positive dialogue in our community,” commented Richard Goldberg, Ph.D., CEO of Behavioral Connections. “We purposefully included real faces and real-life success stories, and give people an opportunity to ask questions about mental health and substance abuse,” he continued.

• May 8, 8-9 am
• May 19, 4:30-5:30 pm
• June 5, 8-9 am
• June 16, 4:30-5:30 pm
