On Tuesday, May 20th at 7 pm, Way Library, in cooperation with the League of Women Voters of the Perrysburg Area (LWVPA), will host a presentation on climate change.
The speaker is Sam Evans, a local Perrysburg resident, high school physics teacher at Maumee High School, and volunteer for The Climate Reality Project. He grew up in small-town Wisconsin and attended college at the University of Wisconsin, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Science Education. Last summer, Mr. Evans attended a Climate Reality Project conference in Chicago with over 1,000 others from all 50 states and over 70 countries. As a result of this experience, he volunteers his time giving presentations and talking to people about climate change. His presentation will try to answer these questions:

-What is climate change? What is causing it and how do we know?
-How is climate change impacting us now? How may it impact us down the road?
-Do scientists agree on the causes of climate change?
-What can we do about climate change?

This program is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.
