"The Drowsy Chaperone" Comes to Fremont Community Theatre

Fremont, OH, April 25, 2014– Fremont Community Theatre and Co-Directors Mitchell Antesky and Mindie Ottney, with special permission from Music Theatre International, are pleased to announce their upcoming production of “The Drowsy Chaperone”, a musical comedy with book by Bob Martin and Don McKeller, and music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison.

This spoof of a 1920’s musical comedy includes many hilarious gags, colorful costumes, energetic song and dance, surprising set changes and sometimes silly story lines, which are reason enough to see this Tony Award-winning musical comedy. “The Drowsy Chaperone” is guaranteed to leave the audience laughing and humming along.

Performances of “The Drowsy Chaperone” will be held May 2-4, 9-11, and 16-18 at Fremont Community Theatre, 1551 Dickinson Street in Fremont. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00 pm and Sunday matinee performances are at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $10 for seniors and students, and $12 for all others.
