Nexus Academy of Toledo Hosts Ice Cream Social

Nexus Academy of Toledo will host an ice cream social on Wednesday, July 25, 2014 for prospective parents and students to learn about the blended high school currently serving students in northwest Ohio. The event will take place at the school (600 Jefferson Avenue) and give students the opportunity to learn about the blended model for learning where students attend online classes at a state-of-the-art physical campus and follow an online curriculum.

Nexus Academy schools are public schools, tuition-free, and offer students a comprehensive college-preparatory high school experience including AP courses, foreign languages, core academics, and career technical education such as introductory courses in Law, Early Childhood Education, Finance, and more. Among the engaging electives offered is Juilliard eLearning, online music courses developed exclusively with the famed conservatory.

Students are provided with a mobile computer and other technology tools allowing them to work anywhere within the Nexus Academy school and beyond, 24/7.
