As we approach the new school year and all that means for children and families in Lucas County, Lucas County Children Services (LCCS) is asking families to “TAKE THE NEXT STEP” by learning about becoming a foster parent. LCCS currently needs families willing to foster children of all ages, particularly infants and young children.

LCCS is again offering its free information and training classes at LCCS’ offices, 705 Adams Street in downtown Toledo. Classes are scheduled Tuesday and Thursday evenings, September 2 through October 9, from 6 to 9 p.m., as well as on Saturdays, September 20 through October 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (two classes each day). These classes are the first step toward helping a child in need.
To register, call 419-213-3336 or visit www.lucaskids.net.
