Workshops are facilitated by two trained leaders who use the manual developed by Stanford Patient Education Research Center. Participants will make weekly action plans, share experiences, and help each other solve problems they encounter in creating and carrying out their self-management program. They will also learn techniques to deal with the symptoms of diabetes, fatigue, pain, hyper/hypoglycemia, stress and emotional problems such as depression, anger, fear and frustration.

Registration is required by calling 419-251-6372. This program is sponsored by Mercy. Sessions will be held at Way Library.
