A free workshop for people with long term health challenges such as asthma, arthritis, heart disease and other lifelong conditions will be held at Way Library. Participants will meet from 1-3:30 pm once a week for six weeks starting Monday, October 6, 2014.

Workshops are facilitated by two trained leaders who use the manual developed by Stanford Patient Education Research Center. Participants will find practical ways to deal with pain, fatigue and depression. You will also discover ways to be more physically active, find out how to eat healthier, learn better ways to talk with your doctor, and find ways to relax and deal with stress.

Registration is required by calling 419-251-6372. This program is sponsored by Mercy. Sessions will be held at Way Library.
