Perrysburg, Ohio will come alive with the excitement of winter weather fun this February. Downtown Perrysburg, Inc. (DPI) and The Town Center at Levis Commons are proud to host Perrysburg Winterfest 2015,
a National Ice Carving Association (NICA) sanctioned event on Friday, February 20 through Sunday, February 22.

The highlight of the weekend will be the U.S. National Ice Carving Championship. Twenty first-class master and professional ice carvers will compete for $15,000 of prize money and the 2015 national title. The community is invited to witness the technical and creative expertise of the professional ice carvers as they perform their art live on Friday at Levis Commons and Saturday in Downtown Perrysburg.

To complement the ice carving competition, there will be numerous ice carvings commissioned by area businesses and organizations on display throughout the weekend. From dramatic artsy pieces, to fun and whimsical and fully functional sculptures,
the commissioned pieces are a great way for local businesses to get involved in Winterfest. The finished ice sculptures as well as the 50+ additional commissioned ice carvings will be on display through Sunday in both Perrysburg locations.

In addition to the ice carvings which will be on display throughout the weekend, a variety of children’s activities will take place at both the Downtown Perrysburg and Levis Commons locations. From crafts and princess appearances to story times and scavenger hunts, there will be no shortage of fun for the entire family.
