Presidential historian and Author Doris Kearns Goodwin to Appear on September 26

Celebrating 20 years of Excellence for the Authors! Authors! series, The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library, The Library Legacy Foundation (LLF) and The LaValley Foundation present one of the country’s leading historians and authors, Doris Kearns Goodwin, for a major fundraiser scheduled to occur during the evening of Saturday, September 26 at Main Library, 325 Michigan St.

Goodwin kicked off the very first Authors! Authors! address back in the 1990s, and since that time the popular flagship series has presented more than 130 authors in Toledo. The Library and The Blade have co-sponsored the lecture series since Goodwin’s first appearance in Toledo. Visit for the 2015-2016 season lineup.
