On Wednesday, September 16, local author Richard Baranowski will discuss his new book Perrysburg Village Voices: Hometown Stories of the Past. The book, to be released September 12, is a collection of 50 interviews of local residents transposed to print. It features stories of local politicians, business owners, farmers, service veterans, and other community members, many of them descendants of Perrysburg pioneers. Enhancing the book are 175 photographs dating back to the mid-1800s.

Mr. Baranowski will talk about his experiences interviewing people, collecting the photos, and how he put it all together in a book timed to coincide with Perrysburg’s Bicentennial celebration in 2016.

Books will be on sale after the talk for $25.00. The talk will begin at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 16 in the lower level auditorium of Way Library. Refreshments will be served. The library is located at 101 East Indiana Avenue in Perrysburg. Call 419-874-3135 or visit for more information.
