The Franciscan Center Announces October Lineup

The Franciscan Center of Lourdes University is pleased to announce its October 2015 slate of events. The lineup includes an internship and job fair, awards and anniversary celebrations.

Monday, October 5
The Sylvania Franciscan Village offers a Book Discussion with Father Jim Bacik at 5:30 p.m. Father Bacik will review chapter 5 of his latest book Humble Confidence: Spiritual and Pastoral Guidance from Karl Rahner. Tickets are $10 each. For more information, call 419-824-3515.

Tuesday, October 6
Lourdes University hosts the annual Toledo Area Catholic College Night from 6:30-9 p.m. Colleges and universities from around the country will be represented. For more information, call 419-885-5291.

Thursday, October 8
The Lourdes University Department of Education presents nationally-known educator Jack Berckemeyer at 6 p.m. Mr. Berckemeyer discusses “Harnessing the Power of Community in Education.” The event is free and open to the public. For information, call 419-824-3661.
