Toledo Flavors launched a new tour, Downtown Delights, which features delectable desserts from local food artisans and restaurants including Rachel’s Handmade Ice Cream, Grumpy’s, Sugarbean, Rachel Michael’s Popcorn, Maddie and Bella Coffee Company, Homeslice Pizza and The Chef’s Ruiz Catering Company.

The tour will also include interactive demonstrations on learning about the benefits adult coloring from Art Supply Depo, frosting the perfect sugar cookie from Sugarbean, creating a fresh pour-over coffee with Maddie and Bella Coffee Co. and learning how to create a fun floral arrangement from Floral Pursuit.

In June of 2014, Toledo Flavors began offering historical and cultural (HAC) food tours in the Warehouse District of Downtown Toledo throughout the summertime. They recently finished their second season of HAC food tours in September.

“We are really excited to expand our business and offer something new to the downtown area,” Mallory Guerrero, Toledo Flavors Food Tours operator said. “The dessert tour allows us to interact with our guests in a totally different way through the demonstrations, while also supporting and promoting our local businesses through the holiday season, which is very important to us.”

Tours operate on Thursdays and Saturdays, beginning at 5:30pm from now through December 26, 2015. For more information or to reserve a ticket, visit www.toledoflavors.com. Limited tickets available. Cost: $40 per person.
