Classic K9 Dog Show:
N.A.D.R.A. (North American Dog Racing Association) was founded by Ken Scarnegie in 1989. It all started with a handful of Canadian and American dog trainers that decided that there was much more fun stuff to do with their dogs than just play fetch. Soon afterward, many games and dog sport events were compiled to make up a funny but competitive stage show. The credo of the organization was “To fill your dog’s lives with as much fun and love as you can.” Hence, the Classic K-9 Show was born.

Fireworks Finale:
Melrose Pyrotechnics offers a full spectrum of pyrotechnic event production services tailored to your vision. Our company team travels the world seeking leading-edge technologies, and our fireworks display technicians undergo rigorous state-of-the art training year-round to ensure an awesome experience for your event.

Sponge Bio

Sponge has proven to be one of the Motor City’s heaviest hitters after gaining international notoriety with their debut album “Rotting Piñata” (Sony). Emerging from Detroit with hits like “Plowed” and “Molly (16 Candles)” Sponge received massive airplay on radio stations from coast to coast and were in heavy rotation on MTV. Both “Plowed” and “Molly” hit #5 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Charts, catapulting “Rotting Piñata” to Gold, and ultimately Platinum status.

Sponge’s follow up CD, the critically lauded “Wax Ecstatic” (Columbia) scored additional top ten Billboard hits including “Wax Ecstatic” and “Have You Seen Mary?” The band’s music was also featured in popular movies “The Craft,” “Chasing Amy,” “Mall Rats” and “Empire Records.” Sponge’s star continued to rise with network appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and the “Conan O’Brien Show.”

Sponge’s subsequent releases “New Pop Sunday,” “For All The Drugs in The World,” “The Man,” “Galore Galore,” and “Stop the Bleeding,” showcased the band’s swirling sonic attack, rooted in 70’s glam and of course, the Motor City influences of The Stooges, The MC5 and Motown-but still sounding distinctly like no one else.

“Plowed” continues to be the band’s signature rock track, having been spotlighted on Guitar Hero’s “Warriors of Rock – 90’s Rock Track Pack” – and on the Paper Jamz Guitar Series 2, in addition to the soundtrack for the Gerard Butler surf movie “Chasing Mavericks.”

Having shared stages the world over with Guns N’ Roses, Iggy Pop, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Kiss, to name just a few, Sponge continues to be one of rock’s most sought after live acts. Front man Vinnie Dombroski captivates audiences with his powerful voice, heart-on-his-sleeve lyrics and high-octane stage presence.

Currently touring in support of a trio of live releases: “Rotting Alive,” “Deep Cuts,” and “Alive in Detroit” (Three One Three Records,) Sponge brings its potent brand of Detroit rock to the masses, once again proving that rock never stops.

WAR MACHINE Kiss Tribute Band
Formed in 1998, War Machine is Detroit’s Premier KISS Tribute Band.
War Machine is a full costume and make-up musical tribute to 1970’s rock legends KISS. We feature all the great music, energy, smoking guitars, and fire breathing of the original band. Based out of Detroit Michigan, the band has been performing nationally for over 14 years. Selected as one of the bands used to advertise the real KISS reunion tour, War Machine has performed live all across America and Canada at Official KISS Conventions and Expo’s. The band has played live on stage with 6 of the 10 original members of the KISS band lineup. We have been the opening act for over 54 National bands such as Cheap Trick, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, and Dennis DeYoung of STYX. War Machine set several attendance records for clubs and festivals during the summer of 2012 season. The band enjoys performing at a wide variety of venues including hotels, casinos, Hard Rock Cafe, corporate and private events, major league sporting event half time shows, and opening day celebrations. We perform indoors or outdoors. We have even performed at two ‘KISS’ themed weddings. Yes, bride and groom in full Kiss makeup! War Machine is a unique tribute act which advertises that all four members sing and play their own instruments. Unlike our competitors, we do not perform to a backing soundtrack. The band is height proportionate to the real KISS. The band also has authentic costumes pieces purchased at rock memorabilia auctions, period correct guitars, drums and amplifiers. Our typical show can be up to 2 1/2 hours in length and contains hit songs from the span of KISS’ thirty eight year career. The show features smoking guitar solo, rocket launcher guitar, fire breathing, special effects with fake blood, drum solo, and bass guitar solos. We can offer limited pyro-technic effects for venues which can support it. War Machine enjoys meeting their fans, and we are family and children friendly. We always do a meet and greet and try to stay long enough so each and every person gets a photo with us in costume. We have FREE 8 x 10 photos and glow in the dark guitar picks for the children as well as adults (big kids) who would like to take something home to remember the show. Our shows DO NOT contain profanity. War Machine can be seen on the Nationally Syndicated Food Network show ‘Man vs. Food’ (Detroit Episode) and the Retro Movie Channel’s ‘Wolfman Mac’s Horror Theater’.
