Mega Adoption Event for 2 days

Our goal is to find loving permanent homes for 120 dogs and cats in the two-day period of May 14 from 11am to 3pm & May 15, 2016 from 11am to 3pm. Participating rescues will be: Planned Pethood, Toledo Area Humane Society, Toledo Pet Bull Project, Wood County Humane Society, BREW Midwest, North Coast Grey Hound Connection, Best Friends Forever and Dog Works.

Representatives from the Glass City Dog park will be on hand to sign up new members or to answer your questions. Also attending will be the Waterville Police K9 unit, food trucks, PetSmart dog training demonstrations, face painting and temporary pet tattoos from the PetSmart groomers.

The Mega Adoption Event will be at the Petsmart in the Spring Meadows Shopping Plaza on Airport Hwy located at 1450 Spring Meadows Dr Holland, Ohio 43528.

On site will also be the Traveling Rummage Sale Donation trailer. You can bring your unwanted items to our Mega Adoption event during event hours. Donated items will be sold at our rummage sale using 100% of the funds raised to help animals in our care and in our community.

This event is made possible through a grant from PetSmart Charities Inc. PetSmart Charities and PetSmart Charities of Canada are non-profit organizations dedicated to saving the lives of homeless pets. Today, PetSmart Charities’ goal is to end pet homelessness for good. They have helped more than 6 million pets find forever homes. That’s 1 out of every 10 adoptions in North America.

PPI Mission Statement: To reduce the overpopulation and suffering of dogs and cats through education and low-cost spay/neuter programs and to rescue, vet and place adoptable dogs and cats into good permanent homes.
