MVCDS Welcomes Erik Graham as the New Head of Middle School for 2016-17

Toledo, OH – Maumee Valley Country Day School is pleased to announce our new Head of Middle School, Erik Graham.

After many hours spent reviewing resumes and conducting Skype interviews, the MVCDS search committee selected one of their own –history teacher, Erick Graham as Head of Middle School. Erik impressed the search committee, as well as everyone who interviewed him, with his knowledge of middle-school- aged children, his work experience, and with his easy going personality. In addition to being an Upper School history teacher at Maumee Valley, Erik has ten years of experience teaching middle school students in NYC and in Warsaw, Poland. Erik also has administrative experience, including work as a middle school co-coordinator, a vice principal, and a summer program director. In his time in the Upper School at MVCDS, Erik has been a mentor/advisor to the Economic Development Club; he was the faculty liaison to the Scheduling Steering Committee; he co-led the development of the new 9th grade

Introduction Intensive; he is the co-advisor of the African American Club; and he is the school’s liaison to the Hybrid Learning Consortium. The Maumee Valley community congratulates Erik on his new position as Head of Middle School.

Maumee Valley Country Day School in Toledo, Ohio offers education to children from preschool through grade twelve.
