Maumee Valley Country Day School Announces a High Jump Winner at the OATCCC Indoor State Championships

Emma Daugherty '18, of Waterville, Ohio, won the Regional High Jump Championship with an outdoor meet personal best of 5'5". She now will advance to the State High Jump Championship on June 3rd at the Jesse Owens Track and Field Complex at Ohio State. This is her second trip to the state meet in as many years.

Emma started this journey by taking first place in the high jump competition at the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches indoor championship meet March 5, 2016. The OATCCC Indoor State Championships were held this year at the University of Akron.

To qualify for participation in the championship meet the athlete or relay team must be listed on the final Top 35 Performance List for each event in which they are entered. Only the top 18 performers compete.
