The Town Center at Levis Commons is pleased to present the fifth annual Sand-Tastic! Summer Festival on June 24-25, 2016. Visitors will be amazed as the shopping center comes alive with sand scultpures, chalk art, live music and more.

Throughout the two-day festival, a team of sculptors from Ice Creations on Napoleon, Ohio, will build four 8-ton sand scultpures on patio areas around Levis Commons. A community sandbox and water tables will also be open with shovels, pails, and all the tools needed for an afternoon of sensory play. The following activities will take place throughout the weekend:

Thursday, June 23rd:
9:45 a.m. – 50+ tons of sand will be delivered Thursday morning to the Town Center at Levis Commons. Throughout the day on Thursday, sculptors will move the sand and mold it into forms so that it can solidify overnight and be carved Friday and Saturday.

6:00 p.m. – Six area non-profits organizations will compete for a $1,000 prize with Castles for a Cause. Each organization will have 30 minutes to build their masterpiece. The castles will be voted on via Facebook with a winner announced Friday, June 24th.
