Posted Jul 1st, 2016 by Luke Scherschel  Category: Education

On the evening of November 9th, Zion Lutheran School of Toledo, OH suffered a fire that destroyed the boiler utility room and which left the school with smoke and water damage. Zion Lutheran, established in 1952, has made it their mission to provide a quality education and a safe learning environment for the children of Toledo.
On July 16th from 12-3 PM, the school will be hosting a Silent Auction and School Open house, both to benefit their rebuilding efforts and present the progress that has been made in the remodeling of Zion Lutheran School. Items from the silent auction include tickets for local events, gift cards or certificates to local establishments, and other exciting gifts. All members of the community are welcome to come and bid on items with the benefits going to the school’s ongoing fire relief fund.
