Tales from “Old Sparky”

The Toledo Police Museum announces it’s newest exhibit…”Tales from Old Sparky: Convictions that Led to the Electric Chair”. This exhibit will be open to the public Friday September 23, 2016 at 10:00 am. this exhibit will display a replica of Old Sparky, the State of Ohio’s original electric chair. The exhibit also recounts the stories of the 17 individuals from Toledo-Lucas County whose convictions led them to the electric chair. Each story is uniquely tragic as well as compelling. Capital punishment is a harsh and tragic reality and so are the crimes associated with it.
