Small Business Saturday Is BIG At Levis Commons

Most large shopping centers such as Levis Commons are thought of as “big retail.” With national tenants who are part of large corporations, and various chain restaurants, Levis Commons does have the “big retail” component covered. However, over 20 locally owned small businesses also call Levis Commons home!

Small Business Saturday was started in 2010 when American Express began a campaign to promote shopping at small retailers and merchants. Always the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday has grown momentum over the years and Levis Commons has BIG plans to make Small Business Saturday extra successful this year!

“Our local small businesses are what give Levis the extra uniqueness. We have over a dozen businesses here that you won’t find anywhere else” said Allison Schroeder, Levis Commons Marketing Director. “They don’t have the marketing power that national retailers and restaurants have, so we want to make sure the community keeps them in mind while shopping this holiday season.”

On Saturday November 26th, Levis Commons will be celebrating Small Business Saturday with giveaways, store promotions, discounts and more. For every $100 you spend at one of the participating small businesses on November 26th, you can enter to win a $500 Levis Shopping Spree! “Our small businesses are all excited for their big day. Some are providing free refreshments, others have big sale items and all are just excited to meet new shoppers from our community.”
