Bernadine Stetzel 1927-2016: A Retrospective Exhibition

PRIZM Creative Community in collaboration with Library House Galleries in Grand Rapids, OH., and their venue partner The Way Public Library in Perrysburg are pleased to announce the Opening Exhibition of Bernadine Stetzel, 1927-2016: A Retrospective, at The Way Library Gallery December 4 – February 3, 2017. Please help us to inform the public of this historic and significant exhibition opening in Perrysburg.

A special Opening Reception with a short documentary showing of “Memory Paintings, the Art of Bernadine Stetzel” produced by WBGU in Bowling Green in cooperation with The Ohio Arts Council will be available for viewing on Sunday afternoon Dec. the 4th from 2-4 p.m. On display will be over 100 items in many medias some from the private collections of family members, friends, and the large holdings owned by Library House Gallery in Grand Rapids. This will be a rare opportunity to enjoy an overview of one of Northwest Ohio’s most beloved and prolific artists who passed away on Friday Aug. the 5th of this year at the age of 89.

Select pieces from the exhibit at Way Library will continue on tour during the months of Feb-May 2017 at the PRIZM gallery space at the Sam B’s restaurant at 163 S. Main Street in Bowling Green, Ohio. PRIZM is a 501 c. 3 Non-profit for collaboration and education in visual and literary arts.
