Vermilion Hosts 9th-Annual “Ice A Fair”

An annual family-friendly winter event, Ice A Fair, fills downtown Vermilion with glittering ice sculptures and carving demonstrations throughout the day. Enjoy this easily-walkable venue or tour by Lolly the Trolley for only $2.

Meet up with Pete the Penguin and Jolly the Snowman as they stroll the streets greeting visitors. Stop by Ritter Public Library’s Annual Chocolate Festival to sample chocolate creations the add local shopping and dining to your Vermilion visit. The day ends with a spectacular show of Fire and Ice in the center of downtown where flame and ice work together to create ever changing textures and shapes.

The Meltdown Party that follows is a chance to wind down at the end of the event with an appetizer buffet. (Reservations required) There are lots of chances all day to win prizes and raffles including $1000 in “Cold Hard Cash”. Go to the official page or the Facebook event page for complete information.
