Grab your sneakers and fetch a furry friend for the Toledo Area Humane Society’s 32nd Annual Bark in the Park! This pet friendly walk is a great way to get your family and friends outside for a fun afternoon at TAHS right here in Maumee. There will be games for kids and pups alike, great food and live entertainment and, of course, the 1.25 mile walk where you can show off your pups while they strut their stuff! All funds raised at the Bark in the Park go directly to caring for the nearly 4,000 animals that come to the Toledo Area Humane Society every year. Registration is now open– visit www.toledohumane.org for information on how to register!
This year’s Bark in the Park is scheduled for Saturday, May 20th and will kick off at 11:00 am with the walk starting at 12:00 pm. There will be activities at the shelter lasting until about 2:00 pm. This year, TAHS is hoping to raise $60,000 from their annual walk. They are excited to announce a few new features for this year’s Bark in the Park: bigger and better prizes for individual and Pack (team) fundraisers, new games for kids and pups, delicious food and complimentary breakfast items as a special way for TAHS to say thank you!
The 32nd Annual Bark in the Park is proudly presented by VCA (Veterinary Centers of America) with supporting sponsors: Pet Wants Perrysburg, Merck, Glass City Federal Credit Union, Invisible Fence Brand, and Three Dog Bakery.
