SAVE Lectures asks, “What’s the Big Deal?”

Science Alliance for Valuing the Environment, Inc. (S.A.V.E.) presents Bethany Deakins, Coordinator of Live Well Greater Toledo, on Tuesday, April 25, from 7:30 – 9 p.m. in the Franciscan Center of Lourdes University, 6832 Convent Blvd., in Sylvania. The lecture titled “The Built Environment and Health: What’s the Big Deal?” is free and open to the public.

Individual and community health and wellbeing are inextricably linked to the design of the areas where we live, learn, play and worship. Ms. Deakins will address how taking health into consideration during community designing and planning can improve and enrich the lives of individuals and help to sustain communities.
