Women of Toledo Intergenerational High Tea

Posted Apr 10th, 2017 by Danielle Reddick  Category: Community Interest

You are cordially invited to join Women of Toledo as we host an Intergenerational High Tea in celebration of women and generations! On Sunday, April 30th, we hope you’ll join us to enjoy the beautifully scenic surroundings of the Brandywine Country Club, right at the peak of spring time!

High Tea includes:
Sensational savories such as Curried Chicken Salad, Smoked Salmon and Poached Asparagus with Prosciutto and Boursin Cheeses; an amazing assortment of decadent desserts, too numerous to name.

An extraordinary intergenerational photo session with JH Photography Studio; A little surprise from Garden Education Services; Chances to win unique gifts and prizes; and, of course, fine tea!

All this, as you’re all dressed up, adorned in your fancy hats (if you’d like), and in the company of those you cherish most or haven’t seen in awhile. We hope you’ll be among friends, perhaps old and new!

As mentioned, to commemorate this day, you will receive a souvenir photograph of your family generations represented that day. That makes the Intergenerational High Tea a wonderful gift for the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday! So gather the special women and girls in your life, count the number of generations you’ll represent and order your ticket package – TODAY!

Know that the proceeds from this event will help to support the creation and implementation of The Hub of Greater Toledo, an online platform intended to offer visibility (one of the most powerful tools at educating and empowering the community) and provide connections to other women’s organizations, events, workshops, etc to foster a collaborative environment with other women’s groups, leaders and women’s mission organizations. The Hub can help women’s groups to learn what others are doing, develop strength through numbers and reduce duplication to achieve a higher impact for positive social change for the community.
