The Sylvania Franciscan Village and Lourdes University are pleased to present an Intergenerational Religious Dialogue on Tuesday, October 3 from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. in the Regina Hall Conference Room, 6832 Convent Blvd., in Sylvania. A total of 50 individuals will participate and represent various religions.

Dialogue between individuals of all ages representing Hindu, Muslim, Baha’i and various Christian religions will occur. Participants will include high school students, college students and older adults ranging in age from 65 to 95. “These students are at the beginning of their spiritual journey as young adults and they are speaking to people who are nearing the end of their own journey, but who have lived it,” says Mary Beth Wielgopolski, Instructor of Theological Studies at Lourdes University.

Established by Sophia Lloyd, Director of the Sylvania Franciscan Village, and Ms. Wielgopolski, the event is designed to promote dialogue and understanding of faith traditions and religious beliefs across intergenerational lines.
