Catholic Charities Hosts March 24 Northwest Ohio Relay For Life

TOLEDO—The Diocese of Toledo’s Chapter of Northwest Ohio Life Runners is hosting a local Northwest Ohio Relay for Life, in conjunction with the National A-Cross America Relay, on Saturday, March 24, 2018.

Individuals of all ages are invited to “Remember the Unborn” (Jeremiah 1:5) by choosing one of 95 segments to walk or run between 7:45 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. through Northwest Ohio, along 202 miles of the Buckeye Trail. Segments average 2.1 miles, but some segments are as short as 0.25 mi; the longest segment is 4.75 miles.

Local running clubs, and college, high school and middle school cross country and track teams are welcome and invited to participate!

There are two Relay Start Points beginning at 7:45 a.m.: at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 46 East Main Street, Wakeman, OH and Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, 500 South Canal Street, Spencerville, OH.

At the end of the day, a Pro-Life Rally with prayer, personal testimony and fellowship, will be held at 7:45 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee, OH.
