NWO Ohio HR Association Diversity & Inclusion Conference

The Eleventh Annual Northwest Ohio Human Resource Association Diversity and Inclusion conference features national Speaker – Natasha Bowman – President and Founder of Performance ReNEW, a New York City based leadership development and talent management consulting firm and author of the best-selling book YOU CAN’T DO THAT at WORK! 100 legal mistakes that managers make in the workplace.

The event occurs on Thursday, April 26 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg. The theme of this year’s event is “Overcoming the Invisible – How to Make Diversity & Inclusion in your Organization REAL.”

This conference is designed to address contemporary diversity and inclusion challenges in the workplace. Diversity and inclusion is no longer just about race, age, and gender, but includes other characteristics that are invisible, but can be barriers to inclusiveness. These characteristics can include gender identity, gender stereotypes, mental disabilities, and socioeconomic status.

This conference provides human resources, business and diversity and inclusion professionals at all levels of the organization with the framework for designing strategic programs that demonstrate organizational understanding support for all aspects that makes employees different, but yet interconnected.
