The Franciscan Center of Lourdes University is pleased to announce the July slate of events.

Monday, July 2

The Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo presents Fanny’s Journey, the third film of the 6th Annual Toledo Jewish Film Festival. Showtime is 7 p.m. Future films include Joe’s Violin and Itzhak on Monday, July 9 and 1945 on Monday, July 16. General admission is $7 per film per person. All pre-purchased tickets and passes will be available the day of each film. Popcorn and water are included. For more information, visit www.jewishtoledo.org/filmfestival or call 419-724-0362.

Friday, July 6

The Lourdes University Upward Bound program is offering a Talent Show from 1 to 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Advisor Lisa Hess at 419-824-3864 or lhess@lourdes.edu.

Monday, July 9

Mondays – Fridays, July 23-27 and July 30-August 3

The Sylvania Community Arts Commission Theater Camp is offered Mondays through Fridays, July 23-27 and July 30-August 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The two-week theatre intensive training summer camp is taught by Irina Zaurov and is open to students in grades 4-12 who have previous acting/theatre experience.

Registration fee is $175 per student and includes the cost for instruction, production, t-shirt, and the processing fee. A discounted rate of $165 per student is available when registering two or more in the same family. Saturday, July 28

The Shine A Light on Abilities 2018 Gala from 6 to 10 p.m. offers great entertainment, a silent auction, raffles, a cash bar and dinner.
