Census 2020 Lunch & Learn – Bowling Green

Bowling Green, OH – Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce announces a Lunch and Learn presented in partnership with Bowling Green State University, Center for Family & Demographic Research, and the Center for Community & Civic Engagement. This Lunch and Learn will be held June 5, 2019, from 11:30 am – 1 pm at Bowen Thompson Student Union: Room 308, 1001 E. Wooster St. Bowling Green, OH 43402.

“Census 2020” The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, Bowling Green State University, Center for Family & Demographic Research, and the Center of Community & Civic Engagement are offering a Lunch and Learn seminar on the “U.S. Census 2020”. This seminar is meant to inform attendees on the history and the importance of the U.S. Census.

Wendy D. Manning, Director of the Center for Family and Demographic Research, at BGSU will be speaking on why the U.S. Census is important and what your role could be in this process. Manning will also explain how the Census is a part of the determination how many congressional members Ohio gets and the state receiving its fair share of government resources.

The seminar is free and open to the public. Boxed Lunches can be purchased for $12. Parking is also free. Reservations are required by Tuesday, June 4th. RSVP by emailing: Events@bgchamber.net or by calling: (419) 353-7945.
