Perrysburg Symphony Presents Season Finale:
Mozart and Tchaikovsky Side by Side

The Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra closes its 2018-2019 Concert Season in a Side-by-Side Concert with the Perrysburg Junior High String Ensemble on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 pm in the Perrysburg Junior High school Auditorium at 550 East Boundary St, Perrysburg.

Conductors Kathleen Schnerer, Orchestra Director, Perrysburg Schools, and Travis Jürgens, Perrysburg Symphony Director of Music offer the following program: Mozart: Overtures to Cosi fan tutte and Don Giovanni; then, with the Perrysburg Junior High Strings: Mozart, Divertimento No. 2, Balmages, Where the River Shannon Flows, Saint-Saëns, Danse Bacchanale, and Mozart, Marriage of Figaro Overture; and the Orchestra will conclude with Tchaikovsky, Symphony No. 5 in E. Minor, op.64.

The Mission Statement for the Symphony states, “the PSO Orchestra is a community-based, supported, musical organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for talented musicians to perform in a semi-professional orchestra through a variety of quality concerts and programs which augment the cultural life of the community. This annual side-by-side concert provides such an opportunity for the Junior High and the Symphony to have a learning, on stage experience.”
