Dance the Night Away for a Great Cause at Paint the Town: Rhythms on the River
An unforgettable evening of live music, cocktails and dancing helps fund free local Parkinson's programs and services.
TOLEDO, Ohio (July 21, 2026) — Great music. Dancing under the stars. Exceptional food and signature cocktails overlooking the Maumee River. That's what awaits guests at Paint the Town: Rhythms on the River, an unforgettable evening where every dance step and every ticket purchased helps improve the lives of people living with Parkinson's disease in Northwest Ohio.
The Parkinson Foundation of Northwest Ohio's signature annual fundraiser will take place Friday, Sept. 11, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Toledo Country Club, 3949 River Road.
Guests will enjoy an elevated cookout, Tito's Handmade Vodka signature cocktails, live entertainment by Detroit's award-winning Bluewater Kings Band, dancing beneath the evening sky and a silent auction featuring exclusive experience packages.
Beyond an extraordinary night out, the event serves a critical purpose.
More than 30,000 people in Northwest Ohio are living with Parkinson's disease, and medical experts believe the actual number is considerably higher because many cases remain undiagnosed. Every dollar raised during Paint the Town remains in Northwest Ohio, supporting free education, exercise classes, support services and local research that help individuals with Parkinson's disease and their families live healthier, more independent lives.
"Paint the Town is an evening where people come together to celebrate, connect and make a real difference," said Stacey Dunbar, treasurer of the Parkinson Foundation of Northwest Ohio. "Guests leave knowing they enjoyed a memorable evening while directly supporting local programs that improve the quality of life for thousands of people in our community."
Proceeds from the event fund a wide range of free programs and services, including:
- The Annual Parkinson's Symposium featuring nationally recognized Parkinson's experts
- Delay the Disease exercise classes
- BIG & LOUD speech and movement programs
- Support groups for individuals living with Parkinson's disease and their care partners
- Educational outreach throughout Northwest Ohio
- Local Parkinson's research grants
For more than three decades, the Parkinson Foundation of Northwest Ohio has been dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Parkinson's disease by providing education, exercise, support and hope close to home.
