Westmoreland Walking Tour - Bankers and Bookies

Join Westmoreland resident and neighborhood historian, Robyn Hage, for a one-hour walking tour of Historic Westmoreland on Saturday, September 12th at noon. This free tour will feature some of the neighborhood's original owners and their complex involvement in the banking and bookie industry that was prominent in Toledo during the 1930s. Hage will be joined by Amy Stone, OSU retired extension educator, who will discuss the trees that line this historic area. The tour will begin at the Ohio Historical Westmoreland sign at the intersection of Mt. Vernon and Woodruff.  Plenty of street parking available.
