TOLEDO, Ohio, April 2, 2026 – ProMedica will offer the following community events in May:
May 2, 2026 – Safe Kids Day – ProMedica Bay Park Hospital will host a Safe Kids Day event focused on child safety education and family-friendly activities. All children in attendance will receive a free bike helmet and life jacket. Activities include a bike rodeo, bouncy house, CPR education, Stop the Bleed training, helmet and life jacket fittings, a life jacket relay race and refreshments. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at ProMedica Bay Park Hospital (2801 Bay Park Drive, Oregon, OH 43616), in the Professional Office Building parking lot.
May 4, 2026 – ProMedica Weight Loss Surgery Support Group – The ProMedica Weight Loss Surgery Support Group is designed for patients who have undergone weight loss surgery or for community members seeking more information about this procedure. The group meets on the first Monday of every month at the ProMedica Health & Wellness Center, Education Conference Rooms 1 & 2 (5700 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH 43560), beginning at 6 p.m. No registration is required.
May 21, 2026 – Northeast Ohio Amputee Support Group – The Northeast Ohio Amputee Support Group is a peer-led group focused on connection, shared experience and real-world guidance. New amputees, long-term amputees, caregivers, supporters and anyone impacted by limb loss are encouraged to attend. The group meets on the third Thursday of every month at the ProMedica Health & Wellness Center, Community Room 1 (5700 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH 43560), beginning at 4 p.m. No registration is required. May 30, 2026 – Women's Health Month Resource Fair – βIn recognition of Women’s Health Month, the ProMedica Ebeid Center is hosting a Women’s Health Fair. This free event will bring together healthcare professionals and community organizations to provide health screenings, education, and resources focused on women’s overall health and wellness. The health fair is open to staff, patients, families and community members, and aims to empower women with the knowledge and resources needed to take proactive steps toward healthier lives.ββ The event will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the ProMedica Ebeid Center (1806 Madison Avenue, Toledo, OH 43604).
May 2026 – ProMedica Ronald McDonald Care Mobile – The ProMedica Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a child-focused mobile clinic offering sick visits, physicals, immunizations and more.
