Bionix is Awarded the Superior Exporting Award from Ohio Department of Development
Governor Ted Strickland handed out awards to Bionix and 30 other Ohio Companies.
Toledo, OH – Bionix Development Corporation was awarded the Superior Exporting Award (“E” Award) from Governor Ted Strickland and the Ohio Department of Development on July 18, 2007. This is the second time Bionix has been honored with this award.
Thirty-one businesses were recognized for their outstanding contributions to exporting. The award is to recognize businesses in Ohio that evolve, innovate, and consistently strive for success through exporting. The “E” Award was established in 1985 to recognize companies and organizations of all sizes that have demonstrated outstanding performance in exporting or heightened awareness of exporting as a vital component of the State’s economy.
Bionix Development Corporation was established in 1984 to develop innovative medical products. The Toledo company has two Ohio-based divisions: Medical Technologies (single-use medical devices) and Radiation Therapy (products that aid in the immobilization of patients during radiation therapy).
