RIVALRY with Joel Penton (OSU) and Shawn Lazarus (UM)
Emmanuel Baptist Church is pleased to announce Rivalry, Saturday, November 10, 2007 starting at 8:30 a.m. to noon. Join with others in the community as Joel Penton (OSU ’06) and Shawn Lazarus (UM ’03), mainstay Defensive Tackles for the Buckeyes and Wolverines, share their biggest hit.
Each achieved great success at the highest level of college football (Joel received the Wuerffel Trophy [“Humanitarian Heisman”] in 2006). While they have had their differences, they also share some commonalities. The community is invited to come hear how God has changed their lives and how they now work together.
• Rivalry Breakfast: A ticketed buffet breakfast will be held from 8:30
a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The cost will be $8 per person or $60 per table.
The breakfast ticket includes the Main Event. Limited tickets
available!
• Rivalry Main Event: Admission is free! Doors will open for seating at
9:45 a.m. and the program will start at 10:00 a.m. A freewill
offering/donation will be taken and applied directly to the cost of
the event.
