Loft & Home Essentials Introduces Local Artist Debi Kahn
Toledo, Ohio. Loft & Home Essentials will host an event on November 6, 2008, 5:30-8:00 pm, for Assistance Dogs of America, Inc. (ADAI), Chicks for Charity’s designated charitable organization for 2008. Debi Kahn will premier her unique and distinctive line of pet beds with use of fabrics, metals, plaster, wood and eco-friendly materials.
“Each year Loft & Home Essentials hosts a successful fundraising event that benefits the current Chicks for Charity’s recipient,” comments Mona Shousher, manager of Loft & Home Essentials.
With the growing need for assistance dogs, we encourage you to attend. Donations of $20.00 and a portion of proceeds from all sales will benefit the Assistance Dogs of America.
For more than 20 years, Assistance Dogs of America has helped individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence by training and placing service and therapy dogs to assist with the individual’s daily needs. ADAI has created more than 250 successful client and assistance dog matches.
“Smucci is the trademark for my pet beds, and sums up my intent to create a unique and extraordinarily beautiful product. It comes from a place deep within me, as a result of being inspired by my own pets and their idiosyncratic sleeping preferences, as well as the natural elements that surround all of us each and every day,” said Debi Kahn, owner and creator of Smucci. Everyone who attends will receive a chance to win an original Smucci™ by ddkdesigns - value $425.
