Glass City Singles Presents Thriller 2008 with Jackpot Band
We are happy to announce that Glass City Singles is celebrating their 26th year of providing singles with Halloween parties. This year’s Singles Halloween Thriller will be featuring a live band. It’s the well known Rock and Disco band, Jackpot who always keeps the dance floor hopping anywhere they entertain.
Also included is the well known Media astrologist Janet Amid who is featured on the morning show at KISS FM. Another feature is coming from Detroit to bring in one of the best dance shoes around, Dance Soles. They will be displaying their large selection of reasonably priced shoes all night long.
Glass City Singles will also be rewarding prizes to our costume wearers. First prize will be a hundred dollar for the must usual or scary one. The Fifty dollar prize will be awarded to the most original home made costume. Last year, this event brought in about 150 costumes, costumes are not mandatory. This is always the largest Singles Halloween dance in the area. Last years attendance was well over 300 singles. For the dancing public our facility features a spacious and elegant banquet room that will accommodate 1,150 people.
Gladieux Meadows is very proud of their 3,120 square foot of dance floor space. Our parties are smoke-free, free snacks, free water and cash bar. The Jackpot band will take the stage beginning at 8:30 p.m. with 20 minute DJ breaks until 1:00 a.m. Gladieux Meadows is located right across from the Great Stranahan Hall, at 4480 Heatherdowns, Toledo just five minutes off US I 475 - 23 at exit 6.
