Musical Audition Notice!!
Auditions will be held at The Village Players, 2740 Upton Avenue at 7:00 pm on Monday November 10th and Tuesday November 11th, 2008 for the terrifically silly show, Don’t Hug Me. This comedic musical is based in a bar in the very cold Bunyan Bay, Minnesota where the waitress wants to pursue a singing career, but her fiancé wants her to stay home. When a fast-talking karaoke salesman promises to bring romance into their lives through the "magic" of karaoke, all heck breaks loose!
Don’t Hug Me is written by Phil Olson and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc. It will be directed by Brenda Sweeney and will run January 9-24, 2009.
Needed are one man (45+), two men (20s), one female (45+) and one female (20s). Come prepared to sing a show tune or country western song. This is going to be a fun and delightful show to be a part of!
