Toledo, Ohio – Northwest Ohio Chapter of SCORE announces Phil Fittante as its new chapter chair, with his term beginning October 1. In this position, Phil Fittante will coordinate community outreach, recruiting, and the chapter’s small business counseling and workshop programs.
SCORE CEO Kenneth Yancey says, “Phil Fittante’s selection as chapter chair will have a very positive impact on Northwest Ohio SCORE.” Yancey adds, “Phil has shown tremendous dedication to the Toledo/Northwest Ohio business community. He will ensure the superior level of service that Northwest Ohio SCORE offers to area businesses.”
Phil Fittante has been with Northwest Ohio SCORE since 2006. He has 35 years of building materials business experience, where he spent time in Sales, Marketing, Financial, Planning and Business Leadership roles. He has also served in industry organizations like the National Roofing Contractor’s Association, and has served and held leadership positions in the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturer’s Association. Phil holds two Engineering degrees as well as a Masters in Business Administration.
Northwest Ohio SCORE provided 1347 small business services to area entrepreneurs during the last 12 months, through face-to-face and email counseling, and a series of business workshops. The chapter’s 42 volunteers represent more than 1000 years of business experience, with a wide range of expertise.
Since 1964, the SCORE Association has assisted more than 8 million aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners through counseling and business workshops. More than 10,500 volunteer business counselors in 389 chapters serve their communities through entrepreneur education dedicated to the formation, growth and success of small businesses.
