DTID, Toledo Edison and City Install Holiday Decorations
As in past years, DTID and Toledo Edison personnel have installed festive holiday decorations onto Edison’s street light poles throughout DTID’s 38-block special improvement district. Toledo Edison and its parent company, FirstEnergy Corporation, are providing their equipment and personnel at no charge to DTID as a community service.
Concurrently, DTID and city of Toledo crews have installed additional pole and ground mounted holiday lights displays in International Park (city personnel) and in Levis Square and throughout DTID’s service territory (DTID personnel.)
DTID and city of Toledo personnel have also erected and illuminated downtown’s Christmas tree in Levis Square. This beautiful 25-foot white fir was donated by the city’s Division of Forestry.
