Toledo Language Institute Announcement for Spanish Classes
The Toledo Language Institute (TLI), under the direction of Violeta Padrón, PhD, announces an Open House on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, from 3:00-8:00pm in the Library at the Common Space Center for Creativity, 1700 N. Reynolds Road, Toledo, Ohio. Director, Violeta Padrón, PhD will provide information on upcoming offerings including: Spanish language instruction for children and adults, customized language courses for professionals, businesses, homeschoolers, and special Summer Spanish Language & Culture Camps. Classes will begin in February, 2009, at the Common Space Center for Creativity.
Violeta Padrón is originally from Spain. She has an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Seville, in Seville, Spain and a PhD in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is the former director of the Wake Forest University semester in Spain program and has over 15 years of experience as an educator and freelance translator. Violeta has taught at major universities and at local schools and organizations. She lives in West Toledo with her husband and two children.
