Johnny Ginger Live At Ohio Theatre

Johnny Ginger, native Toledoan, returns to his home town January 10th at 8 PM. He brings his 2 hour show to The Ohio Theatre on Lagrange Street. His son’s will be performing before his act doing a Beatles Medley.

Johnny is a comic, impressionist and singer. He sings Sinatra classics, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. favorites. His many comedic impressions include Paul Lynne Singing The Beatles..Kate Hepburn singing Elvis…Jack Benny singing Ray Charles. He does a duet with himself as Martin & Lewis. He does a hilarious take-off of old cowboy movies.

Johnny is a Scott High Hall-of-famer..a Birmingham Hall-of-famer, and has his autographed hot dog on the wall-of-fame at Tony Paco’s. He received an “Emmy” in 1993, for his many years in show business.

Johnny just finished a new movie called “Miss January”..starring with Brian Dennehy and Kim Catrall. The release of the movie is due in April or May.

He was featured as “Billy the Kid in the last 3 stooges movie titled, “The Outlaws Is Coming”, in 1964. He appeared with his friend Sammy Davis Jr. in “The Rifleman”.
He was on “The Real McCoy’s” with Walter Brennan.

Johnny has been featured in two books, “Soupy To Nuts” and “TV Land..Detroit”.
